A city! And a person! I wonder who it is~
-
Also, a question: How does the font look in all caps? Would it look better if it weren't all capitalized? What do you all think?

Thanks! :D
I actually use settings from a lot of the Final Fantasy games as references for my buildings (and clothes styles)!

I am not one to say, but to me, (my opinion) is that serif fonts don't look right in all caps. Take that with the grain of salt that I probably don't know what I'm talking about :D

Thanks for letting me know! I'm not entirely convinced with how it currently looks, which is why I was asking you all, so thanks for your opinion :)

You can get fonts online for free. You have a style to your artwork, and a different font choice might better reflect that. Maybe one of these Free fonts might help? :D

*edit: Here is a rather opinionated article suggesting which fonts NOT to use. LOL

Hey Kat, love the art on this page. Your city has a very surreal look!

Regarding the font, this font kinda looks like shouting when it's capitalized (at least to me). Personally, I would kinda like to see your strip use a more stylized font, something to reflect the surrealness of your backgrounds but would still be easy to read, Like The font you used for the title, as an example.

Actually, I'm curious what tha title font looks like in lower case...

Thanks!
And I totally see what you mean... I may change the dialogue to small-caps for later pages.
As for the title, it was actually something that I hand-drew (and designed), and then had a friend edit it for me and make it digital. So... unfortunately it's not a font that I can actually use otherwise :/
But thanks for your opinion! :)

I don't have a lot of fonts on my computer, but a couple that I could see working well with your art-style without being too distracting would be Papyrus, Goudy Informal, or Gabriola.

Of course, I may be going in a completely different direction than you are, so keep in mind that your choice should always be something YOU like!

@DLKmusic Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll poke around a little and try to see what works best. But for now, I'll probably just use small-caps of the font I've got, we'll see how that goes

maybe you could create your own font based on the title?

Well, I personally prefer non-caps/normal-writing text... =)

Good to know, thanks! I'm just used to seeing all-caps text because of all the manga I read, I think hahaha
As for creating my own font... sounds cool, but I don't think I have the skills for that xD
